Biography
Hau Tran L.Ac.
Hau Tran received his Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Southern California University of Health Science (SCUHS) with high honors. He is also fully licensed in all NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) certifications. Prior to studying Oriental Medicine, he earned degrees in Fine Arts and Natural Science. From 2005-2006, he was President of AOMA (The Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin) and led many research projects on pain management and the effect of herbs on diseases. Growing up in a family of many generations of acupuncturists, Hau has experienced various acupuncture and oriental medicine treatments and techniques throughout his life. In addition, he has studied extensively with many master acupuncturists from China and has an impressive range of clinical experience, including pain management, internal medicine, chemotherapy, post-surgery and trauma care.

His goal in life is to pass on his knowledge of the benefits of the healthcare system called Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): Traditional Chinese Medicine was the main healthcare system in all of Asia for over 3,000 years and has many branches, including acupuncture and herbology, another branch that uses natural plants and minerals for medicinal purposes. In China today, both Western medicine and Eastern medicine are integral and integrated for use hospitals to give the best results for the treatment of various illnesses and the prevention of disease.
